Wellness/Fitness II
Course Number: #9922
Continue the journey into vibrant health with exploring the consequences of additive behavior. Any behavior that interferes with life can be devastating to self, family, schoolmates, and the school itself. While alcohol and drug use is of great concern, an entire gamut of other behaviors can affect our lives – food addictions like anorexia, bulimia; nicotine, gambling, and even computer and shopping addictions will be examined. Students will also participate in a variety of lifetime fitness activities including badminton, volleyball, shuffleboard, Frisbee, and strength training.
