PC Management
Course Number: #6819
Computer savvy students will learn how computer software and hardware interact. They will be able to identify the internal and external components that make up a system, and gain the knowledge to perform upgrades to extend a computer’s useful life. Students will also learn network terminology, configurations, and infrastructure for LAN’s and WAN’s. They will learn about the communications equipment needed to set up a basic network and the importance of managing a network and protecting its assets.
Prerequisites: Microsoft Office and Internet Skills, Advanced Computer Applications, and Internet Skills
