Human Anatomy and Physiology
Course Number: #4590
Unlocking the mysteries of the human body continues to be a monumental challenge. Everyday there are new diseases to cure, technological advancements to implement, and ethical decisions to be made. What will we face in the future? Whether you are interested in a career in the medical/health science field or are intrigued by the intricate mechanisms of the body, this is the course for you. The content material will particularly benefit students planning a career in nursing, medicine, physical therapy, medical technology, pharmacy, etc. The introductory topics will be anatomical terminology, biochemistry, cellular structure and function, and body tissues. These will provide the foundation for the study of the following body systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive.
