Chamber Singers

Course Number: #8857

Chamber Singers, an advanced level traditional mixed choral group, is open to students in grades 10-12. This prestigious 50-60-member ensemble regularly performs for both school and community events. Choral selections range from such classical works as Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem to spirituals, Broadway and contemporary works from artists such as Moses Hogan, Josh Groban and Celtic Woman. While an emphasis is placed on a cappella singing, students also perform with live instrumentation. Students from this group consistently qualify for Region II and PMEA State Honors Choruses.

Prerequisites: must be able to sing on pitch; enrollment is by audition only
