Economics is defined as: the social science concerned with the efficient use of scarce resources to achieve the maximum satisfaction of economic wants. This is a theoretical course that examines the economy as a whole. It analyzes all the parts of the economy and how those parts interact with each other. Macroeconomics is a technical and mathematical look at the economy. This course will require a time commitment outside the classroom to be dedicated to reading, research and problem solving.

Prerequisites: World History or Advanced Placement World History
