The Advanced Placement course in Calculus consists of a full year of work study that is comparable to calculus courses in colleges and universities. It is expected that students who take an advanced placement course in Calculus will seek college credit, college placement or both for institutions of higher learning. The course will consist of elementary functions and topics in differential and integral calculus as well as their applications. This course emphasizes a multirepresentational approach to calculus, with concepts, results and problems being expressed geometrically, numerically, analytically and verbally.

Prerequisites: Trigonometry/Precalculus or College Algebra/Triogonometry
